ACMF Bidding 2014/15

LGH are currently preparing 10 bids for our Academy clients and look forward to another successful ACMF bid round for 2014/15 funding.

 

Anglo European School

A new 14 class, two storey replacement teaching block (secured via ACMF Emergency Capital Funding) has completed in time for the new term at the Anglo European School. LGH assisted in securing funding for the new building following condemnation of an existing classroom block suffering from curtain walling failure.

John Warner School

Ten year relationship with LGH continues to bear fruit as one ACMF project completes on site at John Warner School, Hoddesdon another commences! A new 4 class Technology block is open for pupils whilst a new two storey open research and teaching block starts on site, representing the third successive ACMF project for the school in as many years.

 

Ely College, New Science Block opens

New 11 lab Science facility, constructed under an LGH supported ACMF bid which secured £2.5m of EFA funding, formally opened by Duncan Slater representing Help4Heroes.

 

Soham Village College, New Art Block opens

Formally opened by Tim Knox, director of Cambridge’s Fiztwilliam Museum, the new Art and Technology building which is the result from an LGH supported ACMF bid which secured £1.15m of EFA funding.

 

Swavesey Village College

02.05.2014

LGH assist the College and LEA to secure an additional ACMF grant to enable the construction of key core facilities and begin an ambitious £25m phased block replacement programme. The £5.3m project provides new Sports Hall, Technology teaching block and a Maths classroom block part funded by Targeted Basic Need from CCC.

 

St Mary’s High School

Success for St Mary’s with a new two storey block links to the Science and Technology department to enable rational expansion of the existing school accommodating 1 further form of entry.

 

ACMF 2014/15 Funding announced

LGH secure significant new ACMF projects for existing and new Academy clients. Takes the total funding secured for our Academy clients to £30.5m in the last 3 bid rounds.

 

Hinchingbrooke School

Another ACMF grant allocation success in conjunction with LGH and Hinchingbrooke School. A significant ACMF grant of £2.4m has been secured through submission of a comprehensive bid for a new sports centre and dining hall facility, on the site of the Grade 1 Listed site, Hinchingbrooke House.
